The house
BFC Media started producing in 2024. It was built to make finished work end to end rather than assemble it from parts hired in for each job.
That is why the house owns its acquisition and post equipment, and why edit, colour and sound happen on the premises. It works in Tamil, English and Hindi. It takes commissioned work for clients and develops its own series alongside it.
How the house works
Everything is ours.
The house owns its acquisition and post equipment outright. Nothing on a standard shoot is hired in, which is why a quote does not move once production starts.
One team, start to finish.
The people who take the brief are the people who shoot it and cut it. Nothing is handed to a third party mid-production.
Post is in house.
Edit, colour and sound all happen here. That is where most of the difference between competent and finished actually lives.

Sharon Samuel
Sharon Samuel is an experienced filmmaker with a diverse background in feature films and documentaries. He worked alongside renowned filmmaker Santosh Sivan ASC ISC as an assistant cameraman on Urumi, Thuppakki, and Raavan. Sharon also contributed as an assistant director on some films directed by Santosh Sivan, expanding his creative and technical expertise. As the Director of Photography for Oh Antha Naatkal directed by James Vasanthan, he showcased his skill in crafting compelling visuals.
A core team, and the people the house always calls.
BFC Media keeps a permanent core and works with the same collaborators from one production to the next. The unit scales to the production in front of it rather than to the quarter.
