How we handle your details
This notice explains what Billionaire Frequency Code Media Private Limited (“BFC Media”, “we”) does with personal data that reaches us through bfc-media.com. It is written for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it. In the language of that Act, you are the Data Principal and BFC Media is the Data Fiduciary.
Who we are
Billionaire Frequency Code Media Private Limited, CIN U90000TN2024PTC167496, a private limited company registered in India with its office at No. 46, Rajaji Road, VOC Nagar, George Town, Chennai 600001, Tamil Nadu · India.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into one of the two forms on this site:
- The enquiry form (Home and Contact): your name, company (optional), email address, what the enquiry is about, and any follow-up details you choose to add, such as budget range, timing, event date and venue, platform or territory, and your message.
- The screener request (Originals): your name, company or platform, email address, territory, and the title you are asking about.
If you telephone or email us directly, we keep that correspondence in the same way. We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as identity documents or financial account details.
The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It stores one small value in your browser’s session storage to remember that the home page introduction has already played; that value holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the tab.
Why we use it
To read your enquiry, reply to it, and, if you ask us to, prepare a quote, schedule a production or send a screener. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers listed below.
The basis for using it
Your consent, given when you press send on a form after reading the line that links to this notice. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the contact below. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we will stop processing your details and delete them unless the law requires us to keep them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and screener requests are kept for twelve months after our last exchange with you, then deleted. If an enquiry becomes a commission, the correspondence becomes part of the project record and is kept for as long as the law requires us to keep business records, which for Indian tax and company law can be up to eight years.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Formspree, which receives form submissions and passes them to our inbox.
- Our email provider, where the enquiry is read and answered.
- DigitalOcean, which hosts the site and serves its video files, and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site. Both see technical data such as IP addresses in the course of serving pages.
- Google (YouTube), but only if you press play on a YouTube film. Our player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not store information about you until you play the film. Once you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that viewing.
- Analytics: none at present. If we add a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, we will name it here before it goes live.
Some of these providers may process data outside India. Where they do, it is under contracts that require them to protect it, and never in a country to which the Government of India has restricted transfers.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we have done with it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for or where you withdraw consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity; and
- raise a grievance with us, and, if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, write to the contact below. We will confirm who you are before acting, and reply within the time the rules require.
Children
This site is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Security
Forms are sent over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need to answer them. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.
